On Saturday 24 May, The NZ Rum Co. distillery in Hillcrest opened its doors for a special cellar door event, co-hosted with local gin makers Moksha Drinks. Guests enjoyed tastings of award-winning small-batch spirits – from rum and gin to coffee liquor – crafted right here on Auckland’s North Shore. Makers Rob O’Connell and Nicola Voice shared the stories behind their spirits, offering visitors a chance to see inside the distillery and connect with the creativity, innovation, and care behind each bottle.
